Chan Chan
Buenas tardes!! This week flew by! Last pday we went to Chan Chan which is a cultural cite here in Peru. It was really cool! we had a tour guide but obviously I understood basically nothing but it was still really fun. There were some white people taking tours too. The elders asked me what they were saying but I had no idea because they were speaking French. We also went to the temple in Trujillo and ate lunch. It was alright, I'm tired of the food already. I eat rice, chicken, and potatoes twice a day. But its okayyyy :)
Yesterday 6 of our investigators came to church!! It was also the primary program so it was so cute. Another child that we are teaching is absolutely amazing. Her name is Moly and she is 11 years old. She has already come to church twice! The problem is that her mom is always busy so we can't teach her very often. Our other investigators are progressing too. Pray that our investigators can continue to progress and that they can have time to hear more about the beautiful message of Jesus Christ.
A friend shared this scripture in James 1:3-5 and an amazinggg conference talk with me:
3 Knowing this, that the atrying of your faith worketh bpatience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be aperfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 aIf any of you lack bwisdom, let him ask of God, that cgiveth to all men liberally, and dupbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
I invite y'all to read this talk. it's so good! God has a plan for each of us. He knows what we are going through. We need to have more faith and patience in the Lord. he is trying to teach us something with every hardship that we go through. I love you all so much. thanks for all your prayers!
