Restoration

holaaaa!!!! how are y'all doing? 
This week was soo good! Lots of miracles!


Mon: Went to the mall and I saw Hermana Bell from the MTC! We also went to President and Sister Hiatts home for sisters p-day. We ate pizza, played games, and decorated their christmas tree! We took a taxi to go back to our apartament and our taxi driver thought we were going somewhere else. He pulled over and said his car stopped working. We had to get out and find a different taxi. As we drove off, he started driving. He just didnt want to go to Esperanza haha. Good timessss


Tues: Good day :) we knocked on alot of doors trying to find new people and also tried finding houses of less active members. 


Wed: Exchanges!!! I had exchanges with Hermana Alvarez...super fun and I learned so much. Also perus president went to jail and now theres a new president here. There were protests so we had to be in our apartments at 7pm. Kinda crazy!!


Thurs: Had district council and ended our exchange. We read in Alma 36 and its soo good. If you have time go read it. It's about Alma the younger and the atonement. We continued knocking doors and we found new people to teach!


Fri: busy day with lessons and finding people! There was an activity at the stake center and we got to see some dances of Perú. Super COOL:)


Sat: very busy day with lessons! We taught the restoration alot with all the new people we are finding. The message of the restoration is powerful is everything we teach it. I invite you all to share your testimony with someone or me hehe of how you know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormón is true.


Sun: such a good day!! We picked up 4 of our investigators and went to church. They loved it and they want to come to the other acrivities in the church this week too. Afternoon church we had a lesson with Genesis, Jesús, and their mom. We taught the Restoration to the mom and had the Kids share their testimonies. The spirit was so strong. She gave them permission and they will be baptized this friday!!! Miracles!!!!

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
