Merry Christmas And Happy New Year!

Hey hey hey!! I hope yall had an amazing Christmas and New Year! I haven't written in email in a while so here are a few highlights from the past few weeks:


•went to Presidents house as a zone for a Christmas lunch...boujee...the nicest house I've been in Peru. We had lunch, sang Christmas songs, had a talent show, and read some scriptures about the Savior 
•no one loves us so on Christmas eve and Christmas and didnt have any appointments. Hehe jokes. Buy seriously missionary work is hard during the holidays. We didnt have any lessons on Christmas eve but we visited a TON of people. Super fun!!
•Peru knows how to have a party for christmas and New Years...literally got no sleep Christmas eve and new years eve. In Peru they stay up super late and light fireworks ALL NIGHT LONG!! They also burn dummies on new years eve, kinda interesting :)
•I hit 6 months in the mission WHATTTT so crazy. It went by so fast. I've had 6 months in the same area and I have developed good friendships here. I'm going to be so sad when we have transfers.
•we are teaching these three kids right now, I love them but they are absolutely CRAZY!! It doesn't help that we can only teach them outside while their neighbors blast bad bunny. But they are coming to church and all the activities. Pray for Moises, Daiky, and Ayko that they continue to progress and we can set a baptismal date this week :)
•Had interviews with Pres. Hiatt! Him and his wife are the absolute best!! <3 we talked about the doctorine of christ and more specifically faith. We can have alot of faith. But faith without works is nothing. We have to trust in the Lord, we have do our part and take action to see the miracles.

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
