Lead Me, Guide Me, Hold Me Tightly

Here's a Lil weekly update!!


Mon-we went to the mission home and made breakfast burritos, brownies, and played games with Sis. Hiatt! I had bacon for the first time in 8 months haha and it was so yummy


Tues-we tried to finding this member snd knocked on this door. Turns out she moved to England but her sister is living there. We taught her and have another scheduled for this week. Had a litle birthday party for Santos!


Wed-Had zone conference for zoom pipipi pero buenoo. They taught us about revelation. We need to react to the first impression of the spirit. We also need to have faith so that we can habe miracles. There are people that the Lord has prepared for us. Had a member message withe the Alva fam! They taught us more jergas jeje. Theyre super cool!!


Thurs-Had a lesson with Kala! Shes from Kentucky and we were able to talk in English with her! She had such a strong southern accent. Her accent is contagious or something because hermana Kuhn and I started talking to her with an accent too.Shes super sweet! We are going to teach her and her family this next week.


Fri-We had a lesson with Talía! She's also super cool. We taught her the plan of Salvation and she had sooo many questions. It was good tho :)


Sat-Almost all our appointments got canceled. We were so sad. We had one lesson that was scheduled but she never got back to us. Howeverrrr God is so good and we were able to teach her. It was such a good lesson! Pray for her that she can continue to feel the spirit and joy from the gospel.


Sun-Our friend Talía came to church!! We also had a lesson with a member family!! They're the BEST!!! They're so sweet. We shared a message about the love God and Jesus Christ have for us. The spirit was so strong. They gave us a whole thing of ice cream and cookies to take home!!

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
