Hey hey hey!!


Mon- played uno and spikeball with our district!! So fun! Had a lesson with Talía. We were going to ask her to get baptized but the neighbors were yelling really loud and so we decided not to...pipipi


Tues-Interviews with President Hiatt! I love president and Sister Hiatt! They always give us great council and so much love! Had a lesson with Maryori, a recent convert. She is super sweet and she told us about her institute classes shes taking. She wants to serve a mission so we were able to talk to her a little bit about missions.


Wed-District Council!! We practiced teaching one principle in 1 minutes so that when we are finding people we can share a quick but powerful message about the Savior. He invited us to talk to as many people as we could and share a short message with them. With this invitation we found this super cool guy named Marco and he said he'll come to church! He also invited us to invite someone to be baptized with the first contact with them which is CRAZY but we tried it and it wasn't that bad. We will eventually find someone who is ready to accept the gospel and come closer to the Savior.


Thurs-had a member message and she gave us a reference!! We also had a lesson with Katherine, she's super cool. Her mom use to cook for the missionaries and she went to the church one time a while back. We think she'll progress and come to church on Sunday:)


Fri-Lesson with Ysabel...shes kinda interesting but we feel like she is starting to open up with us. Went to a baptism in Villa del Mar for a person that hna poccohuanca was teaching. Had a lesson with Talía and we put her on date to get baptized April 1st!! Pray for her that she can feel peace with this decision and not be scared.


Sat-had a member message...the BEST!! We have been acting on the invitation to talk about baptism in the first contact. I was so nervous but really it's been a cool experience. The worst that wil happen is they will say no but we can always keep sharing messages with them. It's been getting easier to talk about baptism in the first contact. We received a reference the other day and we were texting her. We use whatsapp so they can see our profile pic. Well we were walking in the park and then we get this call from the reference...shes like hey are you in the park right now. She recognized our faces in the park and called us. We were like yah! Are you?! And she said yah I'm right behind you...my companion said while she was still on the phone "que miedo" LOLOL!! Anyways we talked with her and met her daughter and we scheduled another appointment with their family on Wednesday!


Sun-well the day started off a little sad because none of our friends came to church. We had a lesson with some members and they were super cool. I love visiting members! We had a lesson with Alcibiades and he shared his conversion story with us and wowww...the spirit was so STRONG!! He's taking mission prep classes and will hopefully go on a mission within the next 8 months. He said he wanted to help change lives like how the gospel changed his. WOW. ALCIBIADES ES LO MAXIMO!! 


Roman's 8: 35, 38-39 
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

 
Absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. 


I love you all so much! Remember that I love you...but more importantly that we have a loving heavenly father and Savior who love us more than we can even imagine.

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. These past 18 months have been the hardest 18 months but I am so grateful for the hard because in the end I became stronger.  Thank you district 18B for your love and testimonies of the gospel, also for making us laugh all the time. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
