Our Time Is Today

Here's a lil update!!!
•said goodbye to hermana kuhn got my new comp hermana poccohuanca!! She's been in the mish for three months! She's super cute!!
•there was a big cyclone/rain storm and we lost power for almost two days. We helped sweep out water from the streets. Service is the BEST!!
•had some fun member lessons!
•a family that we are teaching came to church!!
•found some new people to teach :)))
•an elder shared this spiritual thought and it was so good. He asked us when we think christ will come. We all said I dont know or mabe soon. He said Christ will come tomorrow. If we don't think he will come tomorrow we are not prepared. Our time is today, we have to change and give all we can because Christ will be here tomorrow

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
