TEMPLE

Hey hey hey!!! 


Mon-Went to Buenos Aires and played some games with the district! Hna Kuhn and I went to a restaurant and got a hamburger and Lomo saltado sandwich. It was so GOOD. The food here is growing on me and I think im going to miss it so much:))


Tues-we went to the TEMPLE!!! It was amazing! The temple is so pretty and you can feel so much peace there. Once you enter the temple grounds, you cant really hear the cars or other sounds. Its just so peaceful 


Wed-Had district council in Buenos Aires! Had a lesson with Talía and the Britto Family. It was super cool. She is progressing and coming to church. Shes so cute!! 


Thurs-Had a lesson with a referencia. We taught her so much then we gave her a Book of Mormon and was like what, i dont know if I can believe anything you said now. But she said she would read the book. Had a lesson with Zoila in the park. She brought her friend too and they're just the sweetest old ladies. Butttt I got like 9 spider bites from this lesson because there are spiders everywhere in this park!! Had. Lesson with Alcibiades and also with Ysabel. Ysabel is praying and wants to keep learning more! 


Fri-had a lesson with Vivian! She's kinda interesting lol. We don't know if she's actually interested tho... We had another lesson with Talía and the Britto Fam. They are so funny! It's so fun talking to them. They gave us these cute llama hats.


Sat-taught Jhonny and hes super cool as always!! He's so funny! So I'm in California which is the wealthiest part of Trujillo and it's pretty nice. We walked just 10 minutes out of our area and it's completely different. We saw a dead cat and hna kuhn was so sad lol. We taught Juan and Cecilia...lo máximo!! We also helped Andrea make a cake. We had a lesson with Santos and she's so sweet!!


Sun-went to church and 5 of our friends came!!! It's a miracle for this area!! We had a lesson with Yngris. Shes from Venezuela and she was recently baptized. She has such a strong testimony and is just the cutest ever. We waited all day long for transfer news to receive an email that my comp is leaving but we don't actually know where she's going or who our companions will be until wednesday when we leave.

Mosiah 14:5
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
