Lil Update

Heyyy!! It's been a minute :) heres a lil update of the mission life this past month!!


•transfersss...I stayed in Cali but I have a new comp! She is Hermana brown from Texas. She only had 9 weeks in the mission field in the states then she came here so I'm kind of training, but im more of a guide to help her get use to Peru bc Peru....is kinda crazy hehe. 
•We set a baptismal date in the first contact and it was so cool....but she is so hard to get a hold of during the week and doesnt have hardly any time. So pray for Carol!
•our friend Ysabel, who said she was deceptive of the church in our first visit, is PROGRESSING! We have seen such a change in her. She is more calm and open. She even went to a baptism. Pray for her too!
•Our other friend Katherine came to church yesterday!! Shes told us so many times that she would but then when we went to pick her up and shed be sleeping but she came yesterday! And she loved it!! Pray for Katherine!
•Its finally starting to cool down...just a little...were still sweating every day. Im ready for winter hehe
•after 9 months in Peru, I finally made it to see the ocean. we went to the beach and played spikeball and stuff and it was SO much fun. My district is tiny but the BEST!
•I hit 10 months as a missionary what?! So fast! Imma finish this transfer with 11 months in only 2 areas.


There's my lil update! Im doing so good! The mission is hard but it is AMAZING! Im grateful for the hard days so that I can enjoy the good days. I am so so happy to be here in Peru and to meet so many people and share the joy of the gospel with others. Im eternaly grateful for my heavenly father and Jesus Christ for their constant and infinite love they have for me and for everyone.

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
