Lord, Is It I?

Hey hey hey!!!

Heres some highlights from the past couple weeks️:
•we were in a trio for one day and it was a party! Hna ucharico was with us for one day and she's the cutest ever. She told me to to tell President to offer myself as a sacrifice to be the first American hermana to go to cajamarca. Imma tell President that today because I want to go there so bad!!
•our friend Ysabel went to a ward activity and she loved it! She's slowly growing her testimony <3
•we were in a lesson in a park and ALL four of us got pooped on my birds...rip
•I'm a clutz...I totally fell off a chair and now I have a huge bruise on my arm and i was bleeding a little bit on the back of my heel.Good thing I wore pants this day hehe
•went to the beach again!! We couldn't go swimming so we decided to play baseball with tomatoes (there were a bunch of tomatoes and the beach and we have no idea why), catch crabs and lizards.
•we found this girl to teach about a month ago but she's always been to busy to meet up again. We were finally able to set up a lesson and we invited her to church. And she came!!!! She loved it and told us she would come next week too.
•We started teaching Yackeline! She owns this tiendita and she's super cool. She loves everything we are teaching her. She prayed to know if the book of mormon is true and she got an answer of peace that it was! The things we teach are either TRUE or NOT. I know for a fact that the book of mormon is true. I have so much peace and joy in this book. I invite yall to read and pray to know if the book of mormon is true. I promise that you will receive an answer.
•my comp had to go to Interpol to work on her carnet so I was with hna Kuhn for 5 hours on Wednesday and it was a party!!!! I love her and miss her so much. I also saw my other comps hna Gamarra and hna Soto. They're dying (going home this transfer) and I'm so sad. I have grown so much love in the mission. Love for my family. Love for my friends. Love for my comps. Love for all the missionaries. Love for the good and bad moments.Love for my Heavenly Father and Savior.
•hit 11 months in the mission!!! Absolutely crazy!!! Time goes by so fast! I'm so grateful to be here in Peru and to serve the Lord for just a short amount of time.
•We had intercambios for only a few hours and it was a party!! I went to chan chan with hna maravi! Shes also dying this tranfer, learned and laughed lots.
•3 of our friends came to church!! MILAGROSSSS!!! Also talked with these 4 kids and they were so funny. They tried speaking to us in english. They also said that "el poder de cristo nos va a proteger" because there were dogs running towards us.

I've been studying humility lately. The greatest example of humility is our Savior Jesus christ. The Lord is all-powerful and could do whatever he wanted but he was humble. He accepted the will of his father. He came to earth to suffer and die. He had all power to survive and stop the atonement. But he was humble. He took upon him our trials, sicknesses, sins, and so much more that we can even comprehend. He did all this for the love that he has for us and for his Heavenly father.
In the Bible, Jesus is at dinner with his apostles and tells them that one of them will betray Him. The apostles dont turn and point fingers to see who it would be. Instead, the apostles ask him, "Lord, is it I?". Instead of looking outwards, they looked inwards. They didnt point fingers at others. We need to be humble and realize the changes we need to make. I've been thinking alot about the apostles reaction,"Lord, is it I?". Am I the problem? Do I need to change? How can I be better. Lord, is it I? We have to put away our pride and be willing to change. We have to accept the will of our father like Christ did and be humble. We need to ask ourselves, Lord is it I?
