Hey Hey Hey

Heyyyy yall!! Its been a crazy couple of weeks, héroes some highlights :)


•went to the temple...the best place in the world! We went with our zone while we were in Trujillo. The spirit there is so strong. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, there is no greater place to feel peace.
•went to trujillo for 4 days to have leadership conference, multi zone conference, and exchanges. I learned so much and felt the spirit so strong. We learned about having short and powerful lessons. We have been focusing on that and have seen so many miracles
•everyone's getting dangue in our mission but luckily we are 6-7 hours from Trujillo and in the mountains so there's no dangue here 
•we have seen so many miracles!! We set 4 baptismal dates last week! Each person is just so amazing. I have been learning that this is the Lord's work, it's not ours. When we have faith and do our part, the Lord will provide people for us to teach.
•we are teaching some people far from cajamarca so they have to travel 2-4 hours to come to church. We are working with our leaders to see if we can get a branch or house church close to our friends. I've realized how blessed we are in the states to have churches so close to us. Our friends are so humble and have so much faith <3
•had exchanges with the hermanas from Pueblo Libre and Los Robles. They are amazing! We had a party laughing together. 
•the moto taxis are literally the best (de verdad....I think I'm going to start a business in the states with the motos) but they are sometimes sketchy. Well we somehow lost our phone in the moto taxi. When we tried to call it, they had already turned it off so we couldn't track it. We used our pensionistas phone to call the office elderes and they told us we would have to wait 3 weeks until we got a new phone. Butttttt God knew that we needed a phone to contact our friends that live far away and we were only without a friend for a few days....miracles!!!! (It was kinda nice not to have a phone and have to respond to texts and stuff like that)
• ate this soup that had cow feet, stomach, and head. It wad definitely interesting but I don't want to try it again hehe


Romanos 5
"2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us"


Character means making correct decisions even when they hard. The grace of Christ is a free gift to everyone. Through our hard trials, His grace will lift us up. We can learn to have patience and trust in the Lord. Christ's mercy and grace is infinite.


I love yall! Thanks for all the prayers and emails! Sorry for not responding, but I do read them and love them. Keep them coming! I'll try to be better at responding :)

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
