Past Months Highlights

Holiiiii!! Its been a while, sorry. Heres a few highlights from this past month :))


• John and Julio got baptized!!! Julio has some kind of alergy and had to get baptizes in warm water. Well theres no warm water here so we were filling up the font all morning with the tea kettles and a big pan of water that they warmed up with the stove. It wasnt actually warm but Julio survived. They were so happy! The gospel changes lives!
• we started playing volleyball with our district on pdays and now our ward is playing with us. My ward is awesome, literally the bestest ever. My vollleyball skills are slowly improving...
• i had intercambios with hermana poccohuanca in la Rinconada. I love this area, especially their pensionista. The Pensionistas grandma invited me over for her birthday. We ran into this guy with the coolest parrot! He can say, " hola" "mama" "papa" and he also laughs
• we had other exchanges with hermana espinoza!! We didnt serve together but we ate together every day in cajamarca. Shes the cutest ever!! We found more people to teach and had fun 
• I complete 16 months in the mission aaaaahh. Ill be home in 42 days....so thats wild. Im super excited but also super sad. Pray that i dont get trunky haha
• hermana gamarra came to trujillo and i got to see her!! She said shes going to visit me in July!!
• hermana ramirez chopped my hair!!
• ate the blood of a cow...it was gross
• had multizone conferences in Esperanza! Saw all the youth from when I served in Victoria.
• We have been focusing on finding families and this week was full of miracles! We found a family and a bunch of other people that we think can progress
• julio offered me to marry his son, hes making plans and everything
• these little girls thought i was from argentina 
• Im lovng the mission!! Im excited but also super sad to go home so soon.


MOSIAH 4: 11-12
11 And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel. 
12 And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.


As misisonaries we invite others to come unto to christ, to be reborn of God. To be spiritually reborn, first we repent and our baptized but it doesnt end there. We must strive everyday to be spiritually reborn. People need to know the importance and how we can be spiritually reborn. The answer is simple. Live the doctrine of christ. Have i been spiritually reborn? How is my conversion of christ?
When we are humble and live the doctrine of christ, we can be reborn and change our behavior. We can change more than just our behavior, but also who we are as children of God.

Hasta Vernos Con El Rey

Holaaaaa!! The time has come to an end. I will be leaving Peru on Friday and will make it to Idaho on Saturday! Im so excited to see everyone but also a little heartbroken to leave all the wonderful people Ive met. Peru will always have a place in my heart. These past 18 months have been the hardest 18 months but I am so grateful for the hard because in the end I became stronger.  Thank you district 18B for your love and testimonies of the gospel, also for making us laugh all the time. I Got My Visa!

Okayyyy so guess what?! I got my visa! There were only 2 missionaries out of all 30-40 Peru missionaries at the MTC that got their visa. I was one of them! It's a MIRACLE! I leave for Peru on Monday and I'm so excited. God definitely has a plan for me and there must be someone in Peru that needs me.  This week has been super good. My Spanish is coming along. It's going to be so sad leaving my companions and district. I love them so much and it will be hard saying goodbye. We are still just having classes everyday trying to learn spanish. One night the fire alarm went off, my other two companions had just gotten out of the shower and were running to put clothes on to leave. The cops came and were trying to figure out what happened but no one knows. The very next night we had to go get medicine and as we were walking back, the MTC president stopped and asked us why there were so many people outside after hours. He told us to do better. Holaaaaa!! I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! The hardest year of my life. The best year for my life. A year of learning. A year of patience. A year of growing. A year of meeting the most amazing people. A year of making friendships. A year of coming closer to my savior. A year of miracles. A year that I will never forget. A year of love for my heavenly father and Jesus christ. There have been times where I've just wanted to give up. But in these times, the Lord gave me strength to press forward. I am so grateful for all the many experiences I have had in Peru and I'm excited for these last 6 months. One of my favorite things about the mission is the opportunity we have to meet new people.
