heyyyy everyone!! Happy thanksgiving!! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week flew by!  Mon: P-dayyy! we went to conache...which is like a park. we played volleyball with the zone and also hung out in the sand dunes. so much fun but I also got fried. we then went to the mall in Trujillo and ate papa johns with the STL´s. super fun day!! Tues: We ate so much food! It was my birthday (thanks for all the birthday wishes..i love you all so much) so we ate cake with my district. Afterwards we went to a recent converts house and ate lomo saltado because it was his birthday too. It was so yummyyy. Our pensionista also made us a cake for my birthday. We then visited our investigator Genesis because it was her birthday too woo hooo!!  Wed: Helped this lady decorate her christmas tree and her house for christmas! super fun. We had transfers this week and I'm staying in Victoria but I have a new companion!! She's literally the best and I love her so much. This week has probably been one of the best weeks in the mission. We set two baptismal dates for Genesis and Jesus on November 20th! They are literally the best and they are so excited to get baptized. We are also working with two other investigators right now and can hopefully put them on date for baptism this coming week. The work has been really good this week. There are small miracles every day. The people here are absolutely amazing. They are so humble and kind. Buenas tardes!! This week flew by! Last pday we went to Chan Chan which is a cultural cite here in Peru. It was really cool! we had a tour guide but obviously I understood basically nothing but it was still really fun. There were some white people taking tours too. The elders asked me what they were saying but I had no idea because they were speaking French. We also went to the temple in Trujillo and ate lunch. It was alright, I'm tired of the food already. I eat rice, chicken, and potatoes twice a day. But its okayyyy :)  Yesterday 6 of our investigators came to church!! It was also the primary program so it was so cute. Another child that we are teaching is absolutely amazing. Her name is Moly and she is 11 years old. She has already come to church twice! The problem is that her mom is always busy so we can't teach her very often. Our other investigators are progressing too. Pray that our investigators can continue to progress and that they can have time to hear more about t...

Holaaa!!! how are y'all doing?  This week went by super fast! We got a new companion this week so now we are in a trio and it's actually so much fun. We are teaching English class. Alot of people come to our class. My spanish is slowly getting better. It´s still really tough but the gift of tongues is real. Sometimes I feel like I don´t make any sense when I´m teaching but apparently I do because they don´t have any questions. We were walking back to our apartment one night and we heard two super loud gunshots. We then saw 2 men run by on the road we live on so we turned around and ran to the closest members house. The next morning we walked by a restaurant that is super close to us and the restaurant was broken into. Two of the windows were broken so those gunshots we heard was literally right around the corner from us. Kinda crazy how close we were but we're safe. Don't worry mom hehe!! Holaaaa!!! I don't have a bunch of time today so I will just send a few pictures. This week was pretty good!! We found a lot of new people this week. They're progressing and want to learn more. We also got another companion so now were in a trio! She's from Ecuador and she's the sweetest. I'll be fun being in a trio these next few weeks. Pray for our investigators!  I love you all! Hola hola!! How are yall doing?? I can use FB messenger on p-days now so you can message me there if you want :)  We watched conference with some members and they invited us to stay for lunch. They served us cuy...guinea pig. I almost made it 2 months in Perú without trying guinea pig. I'm pretty sure the first bite I took had a claw and it was awful. My comp whispered to me that the family thought I didn't like it. Soo I had to finish the whole thing so they wouldn't get offended. It was gross and kinda chewy. And now my stomach has been bad all week. I never want to eat guinea pig ever again!  We started teaching English class!  There are alot of people that come so hopefully we can baptize all of them ;) I had my first baptism on Friday!! She's a 9 year old girl and she's the cutest. Her name is Dulce! Her family are members but they haven't been coming to church for a while. We were able to teach her and her family. I don't have much time today so here are some highlights: -went to the zoo here in esperanza Trujillo and wow it was absolutely amazing ;) There were monkeys, parrots, a horse, a llama and even a lion (jk it was a cat-pic below) -transfers were this week and I'm staying here in La Victoria with my trainer! None of our district had transfers either so it's the same companionships! So fun! -hermano Kurt bought us hamburgers after our missionary coordination...he's a legend -had exchanges this week and it was a party! I learned lots! -we set leonardo on date for baptism!
