Holaaaaa!! Mon: chilled and packed suitcases. Went to The Gran Buffalo as a district for dinner and it was tastyyyy. We have been going there every monday before transfers. Had FHE with a fam and started saying goodbye to the members here.  Tues: absolutely crazy day!! Since both my companion and I are leaving The Victoria, we said goodbye to all our investigators and members. It was so sad and fun saying goodbye to all the friends we made. We ate dinner with the Alva fam and after we had second dinner with the Pretel Fam...the exact same food haha but it was yummy Wed: said a few more goodbyes in the morning and left to my new area :((( I went from a poor to wealthy area. The mission presidents for both Trujillo north and south live in our area. Our apartment building even has an elevator haha. My new comp is from California! Hola hola hola!!! Welppp...my time in Victoria has come to an end. I am being transferred to California which is more towards the center in Trujillo :) I'm super sad to leave all the people I've met here in Victoria but also ready for a change! Buenos diasssss!!! Here's a lil update :) Mon: Went to President and Sister Hiatts house for district P-Day!! We made waffles and french toast...soooo good! The peruanas have never had french toast before so they were pretty excited. I was too not gonna lie :) We also played some games with President and his wife.  Tues: Zone conference with President and Sister Hiatt! Super good as always, learned lots, and felt the spirit. We need to first have our own testimony of the gospel to share it with others. We can't just know about the gospel but we need to feel the blessings and feel the peace and joy that comes from the Savior for ourselves first in order to share it with ohers. We had exchanges and I went to Jerusalén with Sister Edwards. Super fun and learned lots. Wed: Ended our exchanges and had district council!! Taught some people. Taught English woo hoo!! Hey hey hey!! I hope yall had an amazing Christmas and New Year! I haven't written in email in a while so here are a few highlights from the past few weeks: •went to Presidents house as a zone for a Christmas lunch...boujee...the nicest house I've been in Peru. We had lunch, sang Christmas songs, had a talent show, and read some scriptures about the Savior  •no one loves us so on Christmas eve and Christmas and didnt have any appointments. Hehe jokes. Buy seriously missionary work is hard during the holidays. We didnt have any lessons on Christmas eve but we visited a TON of people. Super fun!! •Peru knows how to have a party for christmas and New Years...literally got no sleep Christmas eve and new years eve. In Peru they stay up super late and light fireworks ALL NIGHT LONG!! They also burn dummies on new years eve, kinda interesting :) •I hit 6 months in the mission WHATTTT so crazy. It went by so fast. I've had 6 months in the same area and I have developed good friends...

Mon: Transfers were this week and I am staying in Victoria for another 6 weeks with Hermana Gamarra!! We went to immigrations with a bunch of other americans. We waited 3 hours just to take a picture and fingerprints.  Tues: I had a cold and was exhausted by the end of the day. We had a lesson with Genesis, Jesus, and their mom Ines. They are all so happy and excited for their baptism! Wed: Peru is kind of crazy right now. It´s pretty chill here in Trujillo compared to other parts of Peru but we still have to be careful. We had to cancel our English class and we couldn´t have any reunions in the church this day. However we had some good lessons with members and investigadores. Thurs: Genesis and Jesus´s baptism!! It was so beautiful. So many miracles today. We couldn´t find baptism clothes for them the whole week. The elders were able to find some clothes and we didn´t think it would fit but it did. holaaaa!!!! how are y'all doing?  This week was soo good! Lots of miracles! Mon: Went to the mall and I saw Hermana Bell from the MTC! We also went to President and Sister Hiatts home for sisters p-day. We ate pizza, played games, and decorated their christmas tree! We took a taxi to go back to our apartament and our taxi driver thought we were going somewhere else. He pulled over and said his car stopped working. We had to get out and find a different taxi. As we drove off, he started driving. He just didnt want to go to Esperanza haha. Good timessss Tues: Good day :) we knocked on alot of doors trying to find new people and also tried finding houses of less active members.  Wed: Exchanges!!! I had exchanges with Hermana Alvarez...super fun and I learned so much. Also perus president went to jail and now theres a new president here. There were protests so we had to be in our apartments at 7pm. Kinda crazy!! Thurs: Had district council and ended our exchange. We read in Alma 3...

heyyyy everyone!! Happy thanksgiving!! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week flew by!  Mon: P-dayyy! we went to conache...which is like a park. we played volleyball with the zone and also hung out in the sand dunes. so much fun but I also got fried. we then went to the mall in Trujillo and ate papa johns with the STL´s. super fun day!! Tues: We ate so much food! It was my birthday (thanks for all the birthday wishes..i love you all so much) so we ate cake with my district. Afterwards we went to a recent converts house and ate lomo saltado because it was his birthday too. It was so yummyyy. Our pensionista also made us a cake for my birthday. We then visited our investigator Genesis because it was her birthday too woo hooo!!  Wed: Helped this lady decorate her christmas tree and her house for christmas! super fun. Taught Lucia and her daughter and her granddaughter too. Everytime we visit her we find a new person to teach. We also taught English, wh...
